Virtual Private Networks

The Texas A&M Virtual Private Network (VPN) provides off-campus users a secure connection to the Texas A&M network. VPN helps users who need access to restricted departmental networked drives and resources. This convenient service is offered at no charge.

Note: The legacy VPN 3000 (vpn-master.tamu.edu) for all platforms and devices will be decommissioned during Spring break 2014. The old client is no longer available for download.

Connect Laptops and Desktops:
Log in to connect.tamu.edu. The system will install a preconfigured client on your computer and connect you to VPN. To connect again, you can either log in through the client on your computer or return to the webpage.

Connect Mobile Devices:
See the step-by-step instructions on Help Desk Central to connect to VPN.
